Not sure about long-term effects but works short- termDecember 20, 2007 I've only been using this product for a couple of days but my lips went from already naturally full to very pouty. For the first 5 minutes or so after applying the gloss, my lips itched and burned a little but then it went away and I was left with a lovely pout that my husband said was noticeably different. I'm not really sure how long it lasts though.

First of all, to those who are interested in seeing if this product works, type in "lip injection extreme" and check out all of the product listing since there are about 6 pages for the same product. You'll only get two reviews here but you'll get more that way. I received this as a sample, an ample sized one that's last several days. Whenever I applied it to my lips I noticed they were very red, slightly burning, but that burning sensation left as quickly as it came to be replaced by a pleasant warmth. Afterwards my lips did look plumper but then it could just have been the way the burning sensation caused me to pout my lips out a bit. After about 30 minutes the redness goes away and the plumpness does too. Whenever I applied it to my boyfriend (he's my guinea pig) nothing at all happened. I think maybe this product works on half the people that use it. I just, as a cosmetology-educated person, find it impossible for something to permanently make your lips larger when it's applied atop of your skin rather than injected into the fatty tissue. For a temporary plumping, it's an okay product though.

This lip plumping serum is seriously effective in creating beautiful lips but it is also more tingly than DuWop's Venom Gloss. At first, it is just a smooth gel/serum you apply within the lip line. This is a powerful product that will cause your lips to actually change color, making them look like you applied lipstick. The tingle can last for 3-5 minutes and is not uncomfortable, but noticeable.
This formula promises long term results and unlike other products that fade in a matter of hours, you might wake up the next day and still be able to see the effects. The formulation is based on "four of the most scientifically proven and advanced lip plumping technologies." Using this product morning and evening along with your regular beauty routine helps to maintain the results.
If you prefer something a little milder, you may want to try out the DuWop Venom Gloss or even use both at the same time because the DuWop has a nice glossy effect and this is more of a serum that absorbs into your lips.
