First off I believe this item is overpriced. I purchased this in a kit that included a full sized jeweled gloss, the bronzer, the mascara, and a magazine subscription all for a little under 50 bucks. For me that buy was good. But for the original price its a bit steep. however This product is great. My lips are already kinda full but it moisturizes like you won't believe. Feels fantastic on the lips. I use this before bed and i put a dab of it in the morning. If they make the price at least half of what it is I would probably purchase it on its own.
Expensive but satisfactoryJune 5, 2008 I bought the Lip Fusion XL out of curiosity and because I had used the original Lip Fusion and liked the results but wanted more lip plumping action. At first try I really liked the way it felt on my lips- kind of numb and tingly. I noticed some visible pumping after about 5-10 minutes of application and, when applied at bedtime, awoke to super-soft lips with a lovely natural deep pink color. I've heard that collagen "micro-spheres" are far too large to penetrate the skin and cause any noticeable line reduction or plumping of fine lines so I think the only active ingredient in this lip gloss is the Hyaluronic Acid, which exfoliates and plumps skin. A trick I discovered while using Lip Fusion is to put on only a little bit and let it absorb into the lips for about 10-15 minutes. Then, use a wet washcloth to exfoliate the dry skin from your lips. Lastly, add a generous amount and allow this to work overnight. I usually get the best results when I exfoliate my lips before adding more product, it seems to go deeper into the lip tissues and is more effective this way. I don't really like the smell, however. My boyfriend hates it and thinks it smells "chemically", and I do prefer the original scent to the XL's scent. Overall, if this product were priced AT LEAST $30 less, I may have given it more stars. Since I'm running out, I may experiment with other, less expensive products. Sexy Motherpucker Lip Plumper (sold at Target) advertises to work on similar principles and the results are similar (the XL leaves lips a bit softer) but I just can't get over the horrible orange/chocolate(?) scent so I avoid using it. I'll probably just got back to using Lip injection for awhile.
Satisfied CustomerFebruary 7, 2008 I'm using the product right now and it works amazingly. My lips are fuller and have amazing color! The tingling sensation does take some getting used to, but the results are well worth it.
Best of the lip plumpersJune 21, 2007 I have tried every "lip plumper" on the market and Lip Fusion is by far the best. The rest irritated/dried my lips and I felt a burning or stinging sensation with no visible results. Lip Fusion not only plumps with no irritating side effects, it leaves my lips completely hydrated, looking and feeling wonderful.
I have read the other mixed reviews on this product and I am surprised. This is one of my "must have" beauty items. I have been using the XL religiously now for the last 18 months and have used all the other colors as well. Lip Fusion may not work for everyone, but I love it.

After visiting LipFusion site, I was excited to give this lip plumper a try. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its claims. The product is simply a lip gloss that gives you a mild tingling sensation, nothing more. And, as with any lip gloss, it highlights your lips (not plumping effect) for as long as you have it on. Considering the price and benefits, it is an extremely dissapointing product to purchase. If you want plumper lips, just do the old fashion beauty tricks of liner, lipstick and lip gloss combined. It is cheaper and it renders far better results.
