"MOM! This smells like a swamp creature!"September 12, 2008 While I have only had this kit for a matter of hours, and used it twice, my skin already looks more vibrant and feels a lot softer and happier. I had a lot of redness from a current breakout on my face, and after washing my face ONCE with the cleanser and using the Peel, as well as the toner afterwards (which smells amazing), my redspots have faded.
My initital thoughts about this as I smeared the cleanser on my face were "Eww!" and "Gross!", it smells horrible. My mom laughed at me when I came out with the bamboo headband on and the goo of the Peel all over my face, and I told her it smelled like a swamp creature. But now, after just two washes, my face already has a glow to it. I love it. It is a dream team with my Bare Minerals foundation. I just hope it continues to work.

So I didn't purchase this product on amazon, but I thought that I might as well warn future customers anyway. I bought this a week ago and let me just say, I've tried a lot of products out there and they just don't work for me...but I wanted to give this one a try since the Sephora representative told me that a lot of young customers have been raving about this product. I tried it for about a week now, and I've been getting new pimples everyday! Not just small ones either but those really big red ones that makes your face stand out like sore thumb! At first I thought it was because my skin wasn't used to it, but then I thought about it again and it doesn't make sense, I shouldn't be breaking out even more when I'm using something that's supposed to be preventing that! Besides I don't wear make-up so it's not like my face is caked with pore-clogging chemicals and I work indoors so I'm not exposing my face to that much pollution either so in conclusion it doesn't work. I suggest you try something else.

While I do realize that everyone has very different skin, mine has never been incredibly difficult. I have fairly good skin but I get a few pimples on my forehead once or twice a month. I'm eighteen years old so I don't have aging issues. This kit made me break out like I never have before. I got a pimple on my cheek! I have never had any issue with my skin there! I had six or seven pimples with a week of using the kit. Maybe my skin would've cleared up if I had continued using the kit, but it was so awful I didn't want to try. The one star is for the bamboo headband. It was quite nice.

I bought this kit with some doubts, but I figured, it's fruit, can't be that bad. When I first got it the cleanser smelled a little but it didn't linger and I don't notice it anymore at all. The peel is a bit mild for my taste but it is the mild version so that isn't surprising. The blemish serum hasn't entirely kicked in yet, but to be fair I haven't been using it often enough to expect much. And the lotion smelled faintly like fruit loops but, again, the scent didn't linger.
And the verdict?
Well, my normally oily skin is finally even. My skin tone is evening out and very nicely. My skin is softer and ever so slightly smoother. Makeup is even clinging better and applying easier.
So in all, this is a good bet for your skin.
Oh, and the "bonus" headband is nice, good for keeping the hair out of your face and it's sooooooo soft.
Juice Beauty Organic is a great line of natural skin care!December 19, 2007 I have oily-blemish skin and the Juice Beauty Organics to Clear Skin Kit has been wonderful to my skin. The products are light on your skin and smell very light as well. I think with a combination of drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and using these products you can obtain gorgeous skin.
