Habanita is the best kept secret in the world of fragrance. She is an old gal, created in the 20's during the time of flappers, as a fragance to scent cigarettes, and became a favorite scent for men and women. She is too feminine these days to appeal to men to use as their own signature scent but boy does she appeal to men when worn by a woman! Molinard has done well keeping this fragrance around so long. Habanita is sensual and powdery with amber undertones. Every time I wear it people ask me what perfume I am wearing. Men pop into my office as they walk by just to say "Gee, that smells so good!" Habanita is not your grandmother's perfume, unless she was Mae West. You'd expect someone like Mae to have selected Habanita! Sexy, soft and classic - give Habanita a try!

This is my very favorite fragrance. It's all the Product Description claims it to be and more. I get overtones of vetiver and I think patchouli. The fragrance is sophisticated, powdery, and truely unique. The eau de toilette is not too strong yet doesn't disappear right away. Also it's stable so you can buy an extra bottle and it won't break down and get off odors as so many fragrances do. (I store my fragrances in a cool dark place.)

I first bought this fragrance in the south of France in a little shop in Nice about 2 years ago and loved it! But when it began to run out I worried that I would not find it in the United States. I was so excited to find it on Amazon and for such a great price. I had paid 100 Euros for this size bottle plus a small one in France, so the price on Amazon was fabulous. Shipping was fast and the product was everything I had found in Nice. I'm just thrilled to have found this beautiful perfume in America. Buy it ladies and drive your man crazy.
