A ShapeshifterJune 22, 2008 This is an odd-smelling fragrance. When I first put it on it had a really heavy leather note, that was really nasty. Others may find this a selling point, but I've never been especially fond of the smell of leather. It did get better on the drydown, when it turned into a fairly standard floral, but then it shifted again and turned into this odd sweet scent, sort of like hay mixed with sugar. It shifted frequently, and overall, wasn't very pleasant. I would definitely not purchase this again, and doubt I'll wear it much.

I own this fragrance & have tried it many times. While I won't become a Kelly Caleche fan, this has to have the most REALISTIC LEATHER note that I've EVER SMELLED! It's not a warm, buttery, suede Italian leather. It's a cool, smooth, slick & even bordering on cold leather. A Herme's leather bag in a bottle! The notes of Kelly Caleche are listed as mimosa, climbing rose and leather. On my skin the mimosa & rose never develop. It's pure leather on my skin.
Kelly Caleche could easily be marketed as a Unisex fragrance. A man could easily wear this. The lasting power is good, but not near as good as say 24 Faubourg, Rouge or Un Jardin Sur le Nil. I will end up giving my bottle to a friend as Kelly Caleche is definitely not me, but I'm sure some ladies will absolutely love it!
