Too much like cleaning fluidJuly 30, 2008 I was disappointed with this fragrance. Having just looked at the chart showing the breakdown of reviewers' ratings, I can see that there's very little middle ground for Fresh's Sugar Lemon, and that was certainly true for me. I thought it smelled more like cleaning fluid than perfume- when I wear this it smells as if I've been cleaning my house, and not in a good way. The other fresh sugar scents tend to have really distinct notes (the sugar plus whatever), but this just smelled like sweet fakey lemon, and it was so, so strong. I wanted to love this. I usually adore citrus scents, but this one just did not smell good on me. I did find that after an hour or two of wear the scent finally softened, but it took some significant time. I couldn't stand the cleaner smell it took to get to that stage. The one plus about this fragrance is that it seems to last longer than other fresh scents, which are notoriously short-lived.
My Favorite Perfume!May 21, 2008 This perfume is seriously amazing. I was speaking to a lady who works at Sephora and she told me in order to make this they squeeze thousands of lemons into hot oil. That proves right there that the gorgeous scent of this perfume is all natural! This is a scent that lasts all day long and a scent that will get you a lot of compliments. I wear it almost everyday and people always tell me how great I smell. It does not smell like cleaner at all. It's a beautiful clean feminine scent and you can wear it all year round!

I don't understand people who say this smells like pledge. Its light, bright and refreshing. It definately smells like lemon but the acidity of the lemon is cut by the warmth of the sugar. The intensity of the lemon also wears off and the remaining scent is light and clean. I wore this to the office today and got lots of compliments. I plan to wear this in spring/summer months - totally refreshing on a hot humid day. Fresh has other wonderful scents not as "bright" as Sugar Lemon - "Sugar" is nice and their Sake scent is also wonderful. I also wear Marc Jacobs Daisy which is a light fresh scent and not too heavy on the floral.

Fresh Lemon Sugar, Eau de Parfum 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)
For those of you who have Fresh Lemon Sugar to cleaning products...obviously have not had much experience with the actual smell of cleaning products, which tend to be overbearing, assulting, intrusive. THIS SCENT IS SO FRESH, CLEAN, REVITALIZING, SEXY, UNEXPECTED. I have had nothing but compliments. I normally wear DKNY or Clinique Happy. So this is a change for me, but a truly welcomed one. My husband, family, and friends just love it. Its one of those scents that would be welcomed in California "no scent" area's.

Figured this was a no-brainer. I love sugar, I love lemon - what could be better? ACK!! Wrong!!!!
This stuff smells like Pledge furniture polish. I don't detect the sugar scent at all - the lemon smells chemically.
Save your cash!!
